I wonder if any of these studies compared results by gender?

They’re still observational and but if there was a massive discrepancy you wouldn’t see a difference on looking at the total population.

The mechanistic work (why sauna’s might have an effect) also don’t work on gender specific pathways from what i’ve seen.

Still something to look into further! Very much early days I think…

Did the study also look at other variables that may affect risk of Alzheimer’s like exercise and/or diet? Could it be correlation with sauna use instead of causation?
