Thank you for this article. It’s written in a very accessible way. Ah… one of life’s greatest injustices: unhealthy food tastes so good… 🤤 A carrot may be healthy, but next to pizza it doesn’t stand much of a chance. A true test of character, wisdom, and questionable life choices 🤭
you can have pizza that's not UPF: some pizzerias make their owm dough from 4 ingredients, sauce can be made very healthy and cheese that comes in blocks, or the mozarella balls are fine too. Just don't grab that frozen pizza or go to a cheap industrial pizza place and you're good to enjoy amazing flavor without the ultra processing.
So there is still hope for pizza lovers after all. Pizza has officially been removed from my list of moral dilemmas. I shall inform the carrots that they finally have some fair competition 😏
Great article! Distinguishing between technically ultra-processed food and the stuff actually worth worrying about is the most practically useful thing this piece does.
Great article! Covering what ultra-processed food actually is, whether the processing itself causes harm, and what's worth changing in that order gives this a logical structure most food content skips.

I suspect a lot of readers breathed a small sigh of relief at the phrase "not all of it is worth worrying about."
Nutrition advice often feels like a full-time job. Practical guidance is underrated.
Alright, I’m gonna go eat some raw veggies now. I really needed this.
Thanks for this!
